FUSE Cup Rocket League State Finals

Huge congratulations to our Year 8 Esports teams who recently participated in the FUSE Cup 2024 “Rocket League” State Finals. The aim of “Rocket League” is to score goals, much like soccer, with a vehicle that is controlled by the driver and boosted by rocket power. Think Physics, combined with Mathematics, Technologies and Phys Ed – strategy, skill and teamwork! Both teams competed extremely well and easily made it into the Semi-Finals, after beating schools such as Christ Church Grammar School and Methodist Ladies’ College. Students Jai Garner and Luke Robinson continued their winning streak all the way to the Grand Final. By beating Servite College, they ended the competition as WA State Champions! This has earned them a place in the Australian National Championships to be held on the Gold Coast later this year.
