Harmony Day

03 May 2024

Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Our school celebrated Harmony Day with a whole school picnic where students from the Secondary School met with their Primary School buddies for the first of five occasions during the year. Together, the buddies enjoyed lunch and engaged in ‘getting to know you’ conversations while listening to music.
Students were encouraged to wear orange and/or something that is traditionally worn in the student’s home country or where they feel their heritage lies. They were also encouraged to bring lunch into school - especially something that is traditionally eaten in their home country.
